Originally built as a convent for nuns in 1621, and designed and restored by Arias Serna Saravia in 1991, the Santa Clara Hotel is a unique project that contributed in the positioning of the city of Cartagena as a high-range international tourist destination. Considered the most exclusive hotel in Colombia, it’s also an architectonic gem from the 17th Century and a National Cultural Heritage.
